We are the Wrights and are big fans of Charley Harper's art. Charley's minimalist approach to seeing the world, and especially, the birds, is just unmatched, making Charley our favorite modern artist. As lifelong 'birders' intent on studying the details of birds, we are amazed at the accuracy of Charley's work; each print captures the pure esssence of a bird such that, even lacking detail, it is immediately recognizable. His choice of color palattes is true to nature. And, the execution of his work, in lithographs, serigraphs and giclee media are just fabulous. Finally, we have the greatest admiration for Charley's commitment to the natural treasures of this country, and beyond its borders. Our first encounter with Charley's art was seeing his Monteverde Cloud Forest (Costa Rica) poster - it's still our favorite. But, that is only the 'tip of the iceberg', as he has done over 50 such posters to celebrate such natural wonders.
